Sinan Pendant - Tanzanite
A one carat natural tanzanite, round cut, set in 18k white gold and ringed by a halo of VVS natural diamonds. Tanzanite is mined in only one place, the Merelani Hills near Kilimanjaro, and the stone reads blue in daylight, violet by lamplight. The body carries an engraved mashrabiya motif, geometry drawn from the carved screens of Islamic architecture. The pendant is named for Mimar Sinan, the 16th century Ottoman architect of Süleymaniye and Selimiye, whose pattern vocabulary shapes the line. Hand applied sky blue enamel deepens the stone. The pendant releases from its chain and clips on as a charm, so the same piece reads quiet on a long chain and bold on a short one.

About This Piece
All Whispers of Alara pieces are crafted in 18K gold — white, yellow, or rose — depending on the collection. We work with ethically sourced diamonds and precious stones, selected for their quality, cut, and clarity. Full material details are listed in the specifications above.
Each piece is shaped and finished by hand. From the initial wax model to the final polish, our goldsmithing process follows traditional methods refined over generations. The result is a piece that carries the marks of its making — and the care behind it.
We recommend having your finger professionally measured at a local jeweler for the most accurate fit. Our pieces are available in half sizes — if you fall between sizes, we suggest sizing up for comfort. For necklace and bracelet lengths, our size guide is available on request.
Store your jewelry away from direct sunlight and moisture. Clean gently with a soft cloth. Avoid contact with perfume, oils, and chlorine. Fine gold and precious stones are durable — but they reward a little ceremony. A piece cared for will last for generations.
